We are a certification body accredited by DAkkS for the RecyClass audits “Recycling Process” and “Recycled Plastic Traceability”.
RecyClass has established itself as a key standard for evaluating recycling processes and verifying the use of recycled materials in plastic applications. The requirements are technically demanding and require a robust data foundation as well as clearly defined processes. Our experienced and accredited auditors inspect plastic processors, plastic recyclers, and sorting facilities and certify them in accordance with RecyClass specifications. For the areas of “Recycling Process” and “Recycled Plastic Traceability,” we have been officially accredited by DAkkS (German Accreditation Body) since April 2026.
We verify that your plastic recycling facilities comply with RecyClass requirements.
In the recycling process, waste is transformed back into a product. This increases the demands on quality, process reliability, and documentation. In the plastics sector in particular, there are significant differences in material properties and processes, which necessitate a structured assessment. We inspect your facility and processes according to RecyClass guidelines and evaluate their compliance based on defined criteria. Our work is based on our accreditation as auditors and draws on practical experience from national and international audits.

We certify the recycled content of your products according to RecyClass.
The use of recycled plastics is becoming increasingly important. It influences purchasing decisions, is mandated by regulations requiring minimum recycled content (§30a VerpackG), and is subject to additional fiscal incentives such as Spain’s plastic tax. This topic is also playing a growing role in sustainability and environmental reporting. We audit your traceability systems according to RecyClass and verify the recycled content based on reliable data. Here – as well as with the Blue Angel (DE-UZ 30a) and RAL Recycled (GZ 720) labels – we are among the earliest auditors and therefore support you with a high degree of expertise.
We audit sorting processes according to RecyClass and provide transparency regarding the quality of your material streams.
Sorting facilities form the foundation of effective recycling processes. The quality of the sorting process plays a decisive role in determining whether downstream recovery processes can operate efficiently and what quality standards are achieved. We review your sorting processes based on RecyClass requirements and assess your facility’s compliance with the established criteria. The focus here is on the plastic fraction. In doing so, we examine both the technical processes and the documentation and traceability of your material flows. This allows us to establish a reliable foundation for collaboration with downstream partners and increase transparency for customers and clients.
